We are moving closer to the great celebration of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on August 15th.


In honor of our Mother and Patroness and to pray for her intercession, we are starting a new tradition this year, of spiritual preparation leading to her feast - a novena to Our Lady of the Assumption.

Assumption Parish is preparing to celebrate in August for our annual Feast Day. All families are welcome to attend. Events at the church are below:

The first year at school is a very important time in your child’s life. Experience has shown that the children who are not well cannot profit fully from the school program. In order to assure your child the maximum opportunity to learn he/she should be in the best possible health.

In preparation of our Feast of Assumption, our own Assumption Parish will do a much needed deep cleaning on Saturday, July 31st at 10am. As a school parent, you can help out and get service hours! Earn the first service hours of the year! See below for more information and the parish contact.

Since July 2011, all incoming 7th grade students enrolled in California schools are required to have proof of an adolescent whooping cough booster (called TDap) before starting their 7th grade year. 6th Grade families, please schedule with your pediatrician a time to get this booster before August 15. See below for information about this requirement.

We are still accepting applications in our 2nd through 5th grades! Please share with friends and families why you chose Assumption School. We still have openings in those grades and would love to expand our classes.
