Assumption School’s Annual Fall Festival Brings Comfort Food, Entertainment, and Raffle Prizes with Social Distance and Face Masks
San Leandro, CA – It was a momentous weekend for Assumption School. Lorena Arroyo and Katherine Greenberg, organizers of the School’s annual Fall festival and parents to Assumption students, recreated the weekend festival successfully achieving the small-knit, community feel that festival goers cherish every year, while ensuring Alameda County guidelines were met. The festival kicked off on the same day the school submitted its reopening plan to Alameda County for consideration as part of the school waiver process that allows qualifying elementary schools to reopen.
