About Me
I am a teacher, parishioner and parent of two Assumption School alumni.
I moved to the Bay Area as a 10 year old English Language Learner student. I attended the Archbishop Riordan Catholic High School in San Francisco, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. I worked as a Software Architect leading teams to design and build software at Apple, Cisco Systems and Sun Microsystems. While working full-time, I continued my education and obtained a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University.
Along the way, my family and I made San Leandro our home and found the wonderful Assumption community. Being a part of the Assumption community inspired me to share my passion of learning with the students in my classroom. I attended Mills College in Oakland where I earned a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. During this time, I was also a student teacher in the 1st and 5th grade classrooms.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and our cats. I also love to play competitive Ultimate Frisbee; my club teams have placed 2nd and 3rd in the nation!
I feel very blessed to be a part of the teaching staff at Assumption School and I look forward to an exciting year!
