6th Grade continues Caritas Creek Outdoor Education tradition in a virtual way
The Class of 2023 have been participating all week in Virtual Caritas Creek Outdoor Education. The students and Mr. Poon have been working to learn the important of diversity, community, and appreciation for God's creation during sessions led by CYO Caritas Creek teacher Melody through Zoom. The overall feeling is that 6th grade would have loved to attend the five day outdoor ed camp in beautiful Occidental, CA, but this was a nice break from the day to day at school. So the onsite classmates did their entire session outdoors in our outdoor amphitheater. Many of our distance learners also took advantage of going outside to participate in nature while zooming in.
