WORLD DAY OF THE SICK 2022 Cathedral of Christ the Light Feb. 12, 2022, 11 a.m.
World Day of the Sick, initiated by Pope St. John Paul II and held annually worldwide near the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes, is celebrated in the diocese this year on Feb. 12. Bishop Barber invites all who are sick or ill, and their family members, caregivers and healthcare providers, to join us in this special opportunity to pray for healing and hope. This celebration includes Mass, the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, a blessing of caregivers and healthcare providers, and distribution of holy water from Lourdes, France. All are welcome.
