Big congratulations to Assumption Alum Julia Chapman, Class of 2011! 

Julia has a Bachelor's in Vocal Performance - Choral/Vocal, has just completed a Masters and earned her single subject teaching credential in music. She has accepted a job as a high school choir and piano teacher and will be moving to Sacramento just as she celebrates her 23rd birthday.  We are so proud and wish Julia all the very best!

We are so proud of our graduates from the Class of 2020 who are beginning their freshman year of high school this month. After an 8th grade year full of hard work and leadership as well as unprecedented understanding, flexibility, and resilience, our grads are entering high school prepared for their future. We are so PROUD of them all! See below for a listing of our grads and their high schools!

Welcome the the 2020-2021 School Year. We will be opening our site for families to pick up the distance learning materials, devices (if needed), and give a "physically distant" hug to faculty and staff.

Please see the attached flier for details. All materials to "Bring to School" will be mailed to families this week.

The First Day of School will be on Tuesday, August 25.

Our Parent/Student Handbook has been updated with current information, updates on policy, and information important to all families. Parents and students are asked to read and discuss the information in the handbook.

We look to the 2020-2021 school year with a lens of optimism but can’t ignore the world we are in with COVID-19. We are committed to providing a safe, balanced, and rigorous educational experience for our students, families and faculty/staff. We will adapt our learning plans this year to be sure and meet all safety and health guidelines of the diocese, county, and state officials. Assumption School will meet the expectations of excellence in our academics, using best practices, working with effective educational technology, and supporting our faculty and staff to challenge our students whether it be at home or at school.
The Parent Handbook Addendum - August 2020 is an overview of how school will be as we begin this school year in ​distance learning.​ It also covers the move to a hybrid model for gradual safe return to in-person learning and instruction. Please review and discuss all expectations with your student to enjoy their success this year.

Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School’s Visual and Performing Arts Program Chair, Mr. Mark Ritter, presents “Why Art is Better Than Magic”, a series of videos intended to show students and parents that they can draw by building skills and learning new ways to see and think about what they perceive. Offered for 5th through 8th graders.
