Team Trojan competed at Academic Decathlon March 1

Assumption School’s Academic Junior High Decathlon team competed Saturday, March 1, at Moreau Catholic High School in a nationwide competition that challenged students in multiple academic disciplines. Representing Assumption with pride, the team competed against 21 other schools from the Diocese of Oakland in subjects including logic, religion, literature, English, math, science, current events, and social studies.

The event began at 7:30 a.m. and culminated in an exciting Super Quiz and award ceremony before concluding at 2 p.m. Families and friends attended and cheered on the team as they showcase their knowledge, teamwork, and dedication.

Team members from 5th through 8th grade include Camryn, Lulu, Nate R, Sarah R., Joshua P., Dylan R., Pierce D., Lucas M., Emery, Amaya W., Jayla, Andy S., and Azalea 

Assumption School's team made a great showing displaying their teamwork and knowledge in every level. While we didn't place, our team's spirit and energy made a definite impact. Thank you to all the parents who supported with food, posters, and cheers!
