Assumption Upper Grades help St. Vincent De Paul Food Drive

A call for help from the SVDP Conference was made to Assumption School upper grade students and they sure did deliver.

We had so much help carrying loads of groceries to families experiencing a need and giving some good holiday cheer that the task ended right on time. We had CYO players who came after games, a cheerleader in full uniform, and lots of kids who wanted to help out!

Thank you to our multiple students and the parents who drove them to school to help out.

Campus Ministry will be announcing their SVDP Christmas Food Drive for students to participate next week. St. Vincent De Paul Conference at Assumption Parish provides families with food insecurities a well stocked pantry for the holidays. They also provide those people experience homelessness sanitary and healthy but easy foods to eat. We will be asking for these items to stock the St. Vincent De Paul storeroom for the holidays.
