We would love to add boys from Assumption School to our group!
The Golden Gate Boys Choir is the only Catholic boys choir in the Diocese of Oakland and currently has students from All Saints, St. Isidore the Farmer, St. Joachim, St Joseph (Alameda), St. Joachim, Moreau, and Bishop O’Dowd.
We are still accepting boys for the current school year. The closest rehearsal to Assumption would be All Saints on Thursdays or St. Joseph (Alameda) on Fridays after school. This summer, we will be taking a trip to Germany and Switzerland to join Catholic children’s choirs from around the world. Last December, our boys traveled to the Vatican to sing for Pope Francis and you can read our son Christopher’s recent article for the Catholic Voice attached.
