Join the Summer Library Program!

 

1. Increases the desire to read and develop a lifelong habit of reading.
2. Encourages reluctant readers to read and to have fun

with the library’s summer activities.

3. By participating in reading and learning activities at the library,
children can better retain what they learned during the school year.
4. Provides an opportunity for all who join the Summer Library Program
to connect more with others in the Community and within

their own families.

5. Encourages parents/caregivers/siblings to read with younger children and
to share the joy of reading aloud which helps younger children develop

their own language skills.

6. Helps build self-confidence in their own learning skills.
7. Incentivizes children to visit the public library to discover and explore

all what the library has to offer.
