The 8th Grade girls (1) played against St. Felicita's (3) and won in two matches scoring 25 to 23 in the final match! It was a nail biter as St. Felicitas and Assumption teams seemed to rally evenly through the matches. They both will represent the league at the Diocesan playoffs next weekend.
The 7th grade girls (1) also played on Saturday in the afternoon against #2 All Saints. The Assumption girls cheered each other and had a strong win against their opponents who played with a lot of heart and sportsmanship. Both teams also will represent the league in the Diocesan playoffs next weekend! We hope to see BOTH teams in the Diocese Championship at St. Bede's Gym later this month.
