Feast of St. Andrew welcomes students to Advent at School Mass

Wednesday's School Liturgy hosted by 4th grade welcomed the school into the Advent season with the lighting of the Advent Candle which represents hope.

Mr. Vaughan, Kaethen D. ('23), Ethan P. ('23) and Christopher L ('23) shared reflections about St. Andrew, St. Peter, and St. James the Greater who were all important disciples who listened to the call of Jesus.

We celebrate Advent not just at our liturgies but also learn about this season of preparation during our religion classes.

Our second week of Advent which represents love will have three celebrations for students and families: Sunday's School Mass at 10 a.m., The Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Mass on Thursday at our 8:30 a.m., and finally our Parish Advent Retreat on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
