As you might have heard in the news, COVID 19 cases continue to creep up in Alameda County. At Assumption School, we are grateful to the families who continue to test when students show symptoms or have been a close contact and report to us positive cases. We have reported three cases of COVID19 in three different classrooms. We have sent letters to those classrooms communities considered close contacts and ask that families encourage mask wearing when inside the buildings.
A reminder of the COVID 19 protocol currently in place in Alameda County is attached.
On Friday November 18, every student and staff member will be provided with an At-Home COVID 19 testing kit to use before returning to school after Thanksgiving Break. Please use your testing kit 24 hours before you return to school, Monday, November 28. If your student tests positive for COVID 19, please keep your student at home per the protocol and contact the school. Thank you for helping us continue to keep each other and our loved ones safe.
