Dr. Michael Torres, Clinical Psychologist, will share the latest insights and trends around "Adolescent Social Media Use and Healthy Development".

Dr Michael Torres is a clinical psychologist specializing in treating teens and young adults struggling with depression, substance abuse, gender identity, and trauma. He has been practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 2 decades. Dr.Torres recently celebrated 20 years as a staff psychologist in the Department of Child & Family Psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente San Leandro. He also has a private practice in Alameda, CA. Dr Torres grew up in the Bay Area and holds a Bachelor's degree from UCLA, a Master's degree from Cal State University Long Beach. He earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr Torres is completing his certification as a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher.
