International Day 2022 was back and it was fantastic! It started off with SLT and Campus Ministry leading our morning assembly at the gym. Immediately after, it was followed by performances by the following students:
- Selah P. (TK ) with her ballet interpretation of “Lullaby and Goodnight”
- Dylan M. (4th) & Kaeden M. (6th) with their Filipino Martial Arts demo featuring “Sinawali” to the song “Enemy” by Imagine Dragons
- Xeenamay D. (8th) with her Chinese opera song rendition of “The Divine Damsel of Devastation”
- Andy F. (2nd), Lola K. (2nd), Ayva L. (2nd) & Zebiu X. (2nd) with their Portuguese dance to the song “Ora Ponha Aqui O Seu Pezinho”
After the performances, the festivities continued with every class visiting the countries featured and the students listening to the presentations prepared by the 7th grade docents.
This year's theme is “The Global Economy and Currencies Around the World”. It was only fitting that the students got to “shop” using International Day Bucks to trade for trinkets and goodies.
After their tour, they got to take home a goody bag and a quiz to test what they have learned.
All in all, it was quite a day! Big thanks to all the volunteers who made it all possible!
