October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! This year we continue to support The American Cancer Society and Team Marnelle in raising funds and awareness for this terrible disease. As many know, Marnelle Vierra Ducey was a long time friend and teacher at Assumption School. Marnelle passed away from breast cancer and her husband, Denis, continues to be a huge supporter of our school and community.
This year we will participate in the yearly Breast Cancer Walk on Saturday, October 16th at 9am at the San Leandro Marina. This walk is self-paced and all ages are invited to join us. Please contact Mrs. Martin to sign up ([email protected]). We welcome your donation!
