Assumption School 6th, 7th and 8th graders celebrated community during a two-day outdoor retreat where they talked about Junior High guidelines and norms as well as expectations as leaders of the school.
This is a retreat led by the Junior High Teacher Team led by Mr. Silvestri, Mr. Poon and Mr. Loverro, and helped students get to know each other and create agreements to be learners in their classroom.
Each teacher took on a role including Art Teacher, Mrs. Barbera, who create an amazing virtual Jeopardy which quizzed students on different important Assumption facts.
How well can you do on the questions?
Students were socially responsible citizens by making sure to discuss their ideas in a safe and healthy way, wearing their masks and making sure they were distanced from each other.
