Hello, Summer Academy Dragons!
We hope you are well. We continue to pray for the health and well being of all. Typically, this time of year we might be writing to share full details of the summer ahead. Unfortunately, due to the continued challenges of the pandemic, I am writing to share news of partial program cancellation.
We have made the difficult decision to not offer the 2021 Middle School Summer Academy due to the continued challenges of the pandemic and our desire for a quality program.
We are still offering High School Remediation, Advancement, and Enrichment courses online this summer, as well as selected High School Prep courses. Registration is now open!
We decided to cancel middle school programs to support a safe reopening of campus in the fall, and to provide some much needed rest for our campus and educators in the most challenging year of all in education.
I am aware this news may impact your summer plans. We are so grateful for the tremendous interest and support we’ve enjoyed for O’Dowd’s Summer Academy program. We value your family’s interest greatly and we look forward to a time when we can be together again. Until then, may your family be safe and well.
